Flash Flood Watch Issued for our Area
December 07, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Houston-Galveston has issued a Flash Flood Watch for our area. Heavy rain is expected from Friday afternoon until early Saturday morning.

Fort Bend LID 10 is asking all residents to remove trash cans and parked vehicles from the streets until the event has passed. This will help keep our drainage system clear from debris.

The Brazos River is not expected to rise immediately. We do not anticipate any adverse impact to the levee system at this time. Additional notifications will be sent if river levels are of concern.

You may find additional information at FBC OEM and City of Sugar Land OEM websites.

Meeting Re-schedule

Due to the conflict with tonight’s Astros must win game to make it to the World Series we have decide to re-schedule our meeting at Holy Cross Church.

It may seem odd to cancel our meeting for this purpose, but the reality is we expect very few people to attend and the information we want to share is too important.

We’ll will advise once a new date is established.

Thank you for understanding and Go Astros!
