The Brazos River has crested at 46.5 and water levels are dropping at the Richmond gauge. Over the next 12-24 hours we should see significant river elevations drop throughout the entire county. As of this morning, all internal levels have been pumped down and are low enough to be below automatic float levels at our pump station. There is still rain projected overnight and into the morning, but the implications to our levee operations will be minimal. Rain totals we are seeing are just under an inch, but we will be prepared for more should the projections change.
